Description The Bacchus G-Studio Ash is a stunning hand made take on a contemporary S-type guitar. This is from the Craft Series, which is handmade in Japan to a slightly lower price point than the Handmade Series. There is no more stock of these anywhere because due to Covid, the very popular and outstanding Craft Series has been discontinued. Featuring a striking burnt ash finish, beautifully set off by a pearloid scratchplate. Bacchus use only premium tonewoods, selected by the luthier who then crafts each guitar by hand. Mod cons include the premium Wilkinson Knife Edge bridge unit, with the steel block upgrade for better tone and sustain; Gotoh tuners, for accurate tuning and superb stability; tapered neck heel for greater comfort and accessibility up the neck; and a comfortable 12.2″ fretboard radius over 60’s style C shape neck – the frets are beautifully dressed; and easy-access truss rod. Super versatile, clear, sweet, singing tones from the bridge humbucker and single coils in the middle and neck positions. The neck and middle position pickups use Alnico V magnets, with 5.6k and 5.8k output respectively. The bridge humbucker is also with an Alnico V magnet, and 16.6k output.
